Supermarine Spitfire Trainer

 

After the end of WW2 Supermarine converted a small number of old Spitfire Mk IX airframes to two-seater trainers for sale to foreign air forces and designated the resultant aircraft the Spitfire T9. The Indian Air Force, the Irish Air Corps and the Royal Netherland Air Force operated a small number of the Spitfire trainers.

  • Maximum range: 434 miles (698 km)
