The G-2A Galeb (Seagull) was designed in Yugoslavia by Soko as an advanced trainer using a Licence built Rolls Royce engine with the capability to also be used for counter-insurgency, ground-attack and reconnaissance, it served operationally from 1964 to 1985 primarily with the Yugoslav and Libyan Air Forces. A total of 248 Galebs were produced and some have now found their way on to the civilian register, most notably one was purchased by the film star John Travolta.
