The RAF Typhoon T1 Eurofighter Trainer is an agile, two seat, multi-role aircraft optimised for both training and still retaining it's high altitude supersonic air combat and ground attack capabilities. It is built by a four-nation consortium consisting of companies from the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain. The EF-2000 Eurofighter has a designed in-service life of 25 years or 6,000 flying hours, the aircraft pictured on this page are of the two seat T1 training version from the RAF's 29 Squadron, an Eurofighter OCU (operational conversion unit).
