Designed in 1934 by a Klemm Leightflugzeugbau design team lead by Friedrich Fecher, the Klemm Kl 35 was a tandem seated mono-plane trainer which first flew in 1935, it was designed under the control of the Reichsluftfahrtministerium (RLM). The Klemm Kl 35 was produced between 1937 and 1944 with a total of over 2,000 aircraft were produced (some under licence by Fieseler and the Czech company Moravan Otrokovice).
