The Blackburn B-2 was developed as a side-by-side seating trainer, it was introduced in 1932 and 42 aircraft were produced and were press-ganged into RAF service at the outbreak of WW2, they remained in service until 1942 at which time they were allocated to the Air Training Corps as instructional airframes.
