Nord 1002 Pingouin II Military Aircraft

 

The Nord 1002 Pingouin II was a  Messerschmitt Bf 108 built by Société Nationale de Constructions Aéronautiques du Nord (SNCAN) from 1944 in occupied France during WW2, a total of 286 aircraft were produced. The main difference between the Pingouin and the Bf 108 was the use of a six-cylinder Renault 6Q 10 straight six engine in place of the Bf 108's more powerful Argus As 10c engine, the aircraft was used as a Communications and liaison aircraft by the Luftwaffe during WW2 and after liberation by the French Military.
