The Curtiss P-6E Hawk was an American fighter aircraft that was used by the United States Army Air Corps as a pursuit fighter from 1932 until 1937 when nearly all were scrapped or sold, 46 aircraft were originally delivered but the majority were lost in accidents giving the type a very poor safety record.
